About Us
Built on Integrity and Vision
The Treasure Trees story
The Team
At Treasure Trees, we’re passionate about expert, responsible tree care. Based in Canberra, we’re a dedicated team of arborists who believe in doing things the right way—from preserving tree health to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.
In 2022, James took over the long-established Timbertops Tree Works, bringing a strong focus on sustainability and professionalism. In 2024, that vision expanded when Timbertops merged with Maja and Tyla at Treasure Trees —long-time advocates for values-led, ethical tree care. The merger brought together shared values, complementary expertise, and a collective commitment to improving the arboriculture industry from the inside out.
We’re more than just tree workers—we’re advocates of the urban forest. As a progressive, responsible, and engaged team, our clients trust our integrity, expertise, and commitment to delivering excellent results while caring for the ecosystems we live in.
We’re proud of our roots, excited about our growth, and looking forward to helping you care for your trees the right way.
Our Values
Responsibility is woven into everything we do. We recognise that caring for people and the planet is inseparable from doing good business. That means fostering a safe, supportive environment for our crew, advocating for better tree care practices across the industry, and considering the long-term environmental impacts of every job we do. We take pride in our accountability and always aim to leave things better than we found them, both above and below the canopy.
The arboriculture industry is constantly evolving as our understanding of trees, and how best to care for them, deepens. We are committed to adopting the latest research-based practices and continuously advancing our expertise. Our ongoing investment in learning and training ensures that our team remains at the forefront of the industry. We embrace our role in driving the growth and improvement of our industry through active support of industry initiatives.
We believe that open, meaningful communication is key to achieving great outcomes. Whether we’re working with clients, colleagues, suppliers, or the broader industry, we take the time to listen and engage fully, building strong, positive relationships along the way. By understanding the needs of those we work with and sharing our knowledge, we collaborate to find the most appropriate solutions and achieve the best possible outcomes.
